Marrickville Metro – PIP Power Modules

The Marrickville Metro refurbishment celebrates all things Inner West, creating a vibrant, diverse community hub that is a real drawcard for the area. Amidst the casual seating are OE Elsafe PIP power modules, which provide power and USB fast charging for its patrons. Having power modules fitted in the furniture provides next level functionality for Metro customers, who can charge their mobile phones and laptops while using the facility.

Pip power modules are easy to panel mount, or they can be integrated within loose furniture.  Power options include mains or our award winning QIKPAC battery from the OE Elsafe ANIMATE solution.

Reversible TUF-R Type A Port

TUF-R includes the world’s first reversible Type A port, to ensure a first-time connection every time.  The USB A connector can be inserted both ways streamlining the end users experience and cutting down on wear or damage from incorrect attempts, maximising the working life of the power module.

Future Proof with TUF-R Replaceable

Fitting PIP with TUF-R modules maximises the investment.  TUF-R USB chargers can be upgraded or replaced by anyone using a simple OE tool, without the need to turn off the power or call an electrician.
